I have not heard back regarding my complaint either, I have a feeling that it was trashed with the rest of my case. I am very fortunate that my job did not hang in the balance because I would be out of work. I asked my case manager where I can file a complaint and they told me to send it to my case manager who would, "send it through the necessary channels". When I asked about why that would be the case, they went on to explain that the paperwork from the original case simply needed to be has been resent and there has been no action on my case. I attempted to open a new case and received a prompt response that this new claim had been denied because it was a duplicate. I went to my doctors office and was able to visually confirm the documents were faxed to Matrix a second time. I confirmed with my doctors office that the paperwork was sent again.Ībout two weeks after this, I received a notice stating that my case was denied because they did not have paperwork from my doctors office. I had to reach out to my doctor again to get the paperwork sent a second time. They told me they would resubmit the case as an intermittent leave case. At this time a THIRD case manager reached out to me via email to ask if I intended to file for intermittent leave.I clarified once again that my case was intended for intermittent leave. After having my doctor submit the paperwork my case was denied because it was filed as short term disability and not Intermittent leave as was clarified in the first conversation with my case manager (and second conversation with the second case manager.
